About Villa Job Piantagrane:
Alessandro Job inherited 9 hectares of complex soils (sand, clay, marl) in Pozzuolo del Friuli (90 ms). He has aimed to make heritage and terroir-driven natural wines from indigenous varieties. Villa Job is surrounded by forest and the Cormor River and is farmed organically. Alessandro harvests late to achieve more intense maceration. Piantagrane macerates for 2-3 days (open barrel) and is vinified in concrete vats. Medium amber in the glass. Aromas and flavors of dried fruits and candied nuts. Mouth-coating and weighty on the palate.
About Villa Job Serious:
From 15 year old vines. Fermentation of 7-10 days in open barrel. Vinified two years (1 concrete, 1 large barrel). 5,000 bottles made.
